| Preparing Your Artwork |
| SPOT COLOR |
| Artwork Specs Spot Color Separations (vector art) works best with text and designs featuring solid colors. We can match your colors using the Pantone Matching System (PMS). Artwork for Spot color separations must be created in a drawing program like Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, or Freehand. In Freehand the file needs to be exported as an .ai version 8 file. In Illustrator file must be saved as CS or lower version file. Corel must be saved as .cdr 11 file or lower version file. ALL FONTS need to be converted to curves (outlines) or sent with file. |
| FOUR COLOR PROCESS |
| Process printing is primarily for photographic reproduction on white shirts using CMYK (cyan, yellow, magenta, black) this process tends to give a softer more transparent feel. These ink are translucent. Art work should be created (not re sample up)in Photoshop at a high resolution of 300 dpi @ 100% print size saved as a .psd file in layers. |

| Simulated Process is the most realistic process when printing photographic designs on both light and dark colored shirts. Artwork should be created in Photoshop at a high resolution of 300 dpi @ 100% print size saved as a .psd file in layers |
| INDEX |
| Index Separation is a high end process using spot colors to simulate photographic images. This works great with abstract images or paintings. It also works well on dark and light colored shirts (not recommended for true photographic reproduction). Artwork should be created in Photoshop at a high resolution of 300 dpi @ 100% print size saved as a .psd file in layers |
